Setting up network printer in ubuntu 11.10

Oddly, the usual simple gnome printer setup application is missing from Ubuntu 11.10's interface.

One can still go to terminal, type


My printer is connected to the Asus RT-N16 router & the configuration to enter is as follow, where is the router's ip address.

Appreciate that you posted this simple clue.
I was getting frustrated with the Unity interface of 11.10, and have reverted to classic. But it was not "permitting" me to add a printer, let alone a network printer.
This worked a treat!
